Shetland Workshop Details

The Shetland workshop is a 5 night stay on this wonderful series of islands.

including, hotel, dinner, bed and breakfast.

We start our journey in Edinburgh with a short flight over the islands.

The Tour

With the long summer days, we have an extended time frame for taking photographs on these wonderful islands. We will visit the most stunning of locations Shetland has to offer. The opportunities for great photography on these islands are superb. I will take you to the classic locations but with some new viewpoints and angles.

From atop breathtaking cliffs to expansive moorland, your photographic skills will be tested, but you are in a fantastic place to relax and learn. Improving your knowledge and making beautiful images.

Evening Review and Editing

One of the evening's when we get an opportunity, we will include a review of the days photography and editing techniques in Photoshop and Lightroom.

On the sessions you will learn how to take your image to the next level. I will talk you through each stage of the process to the final image, more importantly, I will explain how to take these new skills out into the landscape and increase your vision in front of the camera.

Small Workshop Group Size

A large part of my courses are about learning to see where an image is going to develop and looking at the landscape with a new eye for composition. As I only take small group's, this gives me plenty of time for one to one tuition. It also means we can easily stop along the routes to make images all through the day.
